Swallows

Swallows can carry several infectious diseases.

For the most part swallows are insectivorous, taking flying insects on the wing, but they will on occasion snap prey off branches or on the ground. Swallow nests are made of mud, and are normally found in a corner.

Why do I have a nest on or around my home?

  • Swallows are common where there is mud: wetlands, ponds, etc.

Are Swallows a danger to my family?

  • Although these are beautiful birds, their feces carry several serious diseases: salmonella, toxoplasmosis, meningitis, and more

How can Warner’s help me?
