Project Overview: This is one of our favorite projects completed. Our customer came to us with a backyard renovation to complement their backyard and pool. The customer had an existing concrete walkout patio, which was kept intact. Connected to the concrete pad was an old paver patio under their deck. We removed the existing pavers and installed a new paver patio under the deck, surrounded by a retaining wall up to deck height. We added stairs under the deck leading to a newly installed paver patio and retaining wall. These both flow to the deck and poolside. Another set of steps was installed past the deck, creating access to the rest of the yard. On the other side of the paver patio, a paver path was installed off the existing concrete pad. The path was built through a newly installed boulder retaining wall on one side and a block transitioning to a boulder retaining wall on the deck side. The natural stone steps surrounded by the retaining walls lead to the poolside. We’re proud to provide the ultimate pool party entertainment experience to our customer with this project.

Materials: All materials are Rochester Concrete Products. Black Olympic concrete retaining wall block. Indiana Limestone chiseled caps. The steps are made of the same material as the wall. Glacier Creek Tahoe pavers for the patio with Bone Holland paver border. Fieldstone boulder for the boulder retaining walls.
